Background Checks

We as Volvo dealer verifies each cars originality, working with independent vehicle data specialists. They check the vehicle ownership history, identification details and registration documentation. Checks are made to establish if the car is stolen, subject to outstanding finance or has ever been written off in an accident. Then, providing we are happy with the findings, the vehicle is inspected and prepared for sale.

Vehicle Inspection

Every Used Volvo Car undergoes comprehensive individual checks by trained Volvo service technicians, using our ISO 9000 accredited process. The report, including details of subsequent adjustments, repairs or replacements completed, is available for each car.

All paint and bodywork is carefully examined for defects and where necessary repaired to Volvo standards in our own bodyshop. Any suspect mechanical components, from an entire exhaust system to a rear windscreen wiper blade, are replaced using Genuine Volvo parts. Inside, the car upholstery, carpets and trim are completely cleaned and valeted. Outside, the bodywork is carefully cleaned and polished.

That's why we offer a 30 day exchange. If we can't correct a fault that you report within 30 days of purchase or 1,500 miles driving (whichever comes first), we as a Volvo dealer will exchange the car for another.

All Volvo cars under 2 years old which have travelled less than 40,000 miles at the time of purchase, receive warranty cover for 40,000 miles travelled or 24 months, whichever comes first.

If a Volvo Selected Used Car is over 2 years old or 40,000 miles at the time of purchase, you will receive warranty cover for 12 months or 20,000 miles travelled, whichever comes first.

The Volvo Selected Used Car warranty pioneered additional benefits such as 'consequential damage' cover and 'like for like' car hire. These benefits provide a level of warranty cover you would expect from Volvo.

Our warranty is also valid throughout Europe, providing you with additional peace of mind when travelling abroad.
